Google launches pre-testing the beta version of Android 8.1

Once we got to grips with Android 8.0, as Google announced the possibility of pre-testing the beta Android version 8.1 on latest devices-Nexus and Pixel. This means that the update will be available for a whole list of devices, which includes: XL Pixel 2, Pixel 2, Pixel XL, Pixel, Pixel C, 6P Nexus and Nexus 5X.

To obtain the current software, users need to download the installation file for the specific model of the smartphone from the developer page.

But, if you are a supporter of independent software updates, the developers offer an alternative option: you must register on the program website Android Beta Program and automatically receive updates until the final release of Android 8.1.

Note that on the website the beta version of Android 8.1 stated that before the final launch will be carried out another test – approximately in the middle of November to the end of the year users have been able to get a full working version of Android 8.1.

In Android 8.1 is not expected any dramatic changes to the user interface, its main goal – to remove current problems and eliminate errors in the original version of the Oreo. But apart from that, the upcoming update should affect Pixel Visual Core installed on the new Pixel 2 and 2 XL for specialized image processing. Let's hope that the new software will finally show all its hidden potential in action.
