Vs Craig “Satoshi Nakamoto” Wright filed a lawsuit for $10 billion.
Against Craig Wright, an Australian scientist and entrepreneur, who calls himself Satoshi Nakamoto, has filed a lawsuit for as much as $10 billion reported by Coindesk.
The lawsuit was filed by Ira Kleiman on behalf of his late brother Dave, who was associated with the earliest stages of the development of bitcoin. Dave Kleiman, an expert in the field of computer science, died in 2013 from Staphylococcus.
On the role of Kleinman in the development of bitcoin began in late 2015, when the publication Gizmodo and Wired took Wright towards possible candidates for the role of the Creator of bitcoin (Nakamoto, recall, left the project in 2010).
The bitcoin community were skeptical about the candidacy of Wright, since the proposed evidence was not compelling (to provide any further evidence he refused). Now he is a senior researcher in a startup nChain and actively supports Bitcoin Cash.
The basis of a lawsuit filed on February 14 at District court of Florida, are the alleged savings of Wright in the amount of more than 1.1 million bitcoins today are worth more than $10 billion.
The defendant is accused of carrying out "schemes against Dave in order to assign it to bitcoins and intellectual property rights associated with the technology of bitcoin".
Plaintiff attorneys argue that Craig has signed a number of contracts for which assets Dave passed Craig and/or companies which they controlled. The latter is alleged to have signed these contracts backdated and forged the signature of Dave on them.
The complaint attached a number of additional evidence, including the registration of the company W & K Info Defense Research LLC, which Kleiman and Wright were business partners.
In addition to the approximately 1.1 million BTC Ira Kleiman also requires compensation for the intellectual property that arose as a result of a partnership between her late brother and Wright:
The plaintiff demands a court judgment against the defendant for illegally mined bitcoin and intellectual property, together with court costs, interest and any other reparation which the court deems just and proper.
Wright responded on Twitter with a comment consisting of a single word:
It is worth noting that the claim is not asserted and not contradicted that Wright is Nakamoto:
It's unclear if Craig, Dave or both of them creators of bitcoin. For unknown reasons they decided to keep it a secret from their family and friends. However, you cannot deny that Craig and Dave have been involved in bitcoin since the beginning and both have accumulated a huge amount of bitcoins from 2009 to 2013.
