Amazon has signed a new partnership with blockchain startup
Unit Amazon cloud computing will work with a new startup called Kaleido, which was created in one of the leading blockchain incubators ConsenSys. The company strives to provide customers with Amazon Web Services "simple button" to explore blockchain technology. Steve Cerveny, one of the founders of Kaleido, said:
They can focus on their scripts, and they don't have to become PhDs in cryptography, as we will give a simple platform for the creation of the company on the blockchain.
Co-founder of Ethereum and founder of the company ConsenSys Joseph Lubin said that while this is the biggest step towards a technical giant to the blockchain. According to him, the blockchain can help Amazon other fields are constantly expanding business (for example, in logistics). He also added that ConsenSys, which controls more than 50 blockchain projects saw a significant increase in interest in this technology:
Three years ago we received calls from companies who were interested in Baccano just because the boss told them to implement the blockchain. At the moment there are tens of thousands of companies around the world who are really interested in this.
Amazon joins other technology giants, including Microsoft and Facebook, exploring the use of blockchain. Last week Facebook announced the creation of the experimental group for the study of the blockchain, which will be headed by Vice-President David Marcus.
We will remind that in April, Amazon introduced its decision on the basis of the blockchain called the Blockchain AWS Templates that will allow users to create and run your own "instant" blackany: public (Ethereum) or private (Hyperledger Fabric).
